Accent Election

Campaign signage, printed in Montreal, out the door in days.

Election signs, printed in Montreal, while the campaign is still on.

Coroplast lawn signs, roadside panels, stakes and hardware, produced in our own plant and out the door in days rather than weeks. We set the printer and official agent identification for you, because on a Quebec sign both are required and a sign missing them is a sign you print twice.

Frequently asked questions

How quickly can you print election signs?
We print in our own Montreal plant rather than brokering the work, so campaign orders are scheduled as rush by default during a called election. Give us the quantity and the date the signs must be standing, and we will tell you before you commit whether we can hit it.
What has to appear on a Quebec election sign?
A Quebec election sign must carry the name of the printer or manufacturer along with the name and title of the official agent. We supply the printer line and put your agent's line on the proof for explicit approval. Confirm current requirements with Élections Québec or your returning officer.
Do you work with every party?
Yes. We print for any candidate or party lawfully entitled to campaign, independents included, and we keep each campaign's work confidential from the others. More than one campaign in a riding can be in production here at once.
Where can election signs legally be placed?
Placement is regulated rather than left open. Signs must not compromise road or pedestrian safety, and there are restrictions on heritage buildings and sites, trees, bridges and bus shelters unless a space is provided for advertising. No partisan signage is permitted at polling places on voting days. Municipalities add their own rules, so check with your returning officer and the municipality.
Does it matter when we put the signs up?
Financially, yes. Signs erected before the campaign period begins are reimbursed only in proportion to the days used inside the period, with the total cost divided across the days of use. Your official agent should set the install date with that in mind.
